The Retreat

The Retreat is a comedy/drama/musical. This is the story of seven thirty something women who have all been very close since childhood. Due to this very long and close knit relationship these women have a great a comic rapport with each other. Now as the trials of life set in, the women realize that it begins to get harder and harder for them to all hang out together on a regular basis. So in celebration of their friendship they all meet once a year for a weekend retreat. This year the women come to love and laugh with each other, however some deep seeded jealousy and grudges from the past explode their way onto the stage of this year’s retreat. Will they be able to stay together? Will the strong bond of sisterhood be enough to withstand these debilitating issues? Well this is what “The Retreat” will offer you. In finding out the answers to our characters questions about life, you may find some answers to the questions you have about your own life. “The Retreat” is coming August 2010.
